Lifetime Jack’s Auto Glass Warranty
Jack’s Glass offers a warranty for as long as you own your vehicle. This warranty includes any faults in our workmanship or defects in any of the materials included in your replacement or repair. This warranty remains in effect until you sell, gift or lease the vehicle.
Jack’s Glass will inspect the vehicle to determine the most appropriate remedy before processing any warranty claims.
You must contact Jack’s Glass to make a claim within 30 days of when any defect becomes apparent. The warranty does not include loss or damages resulting from any delay in making a claim for warranty service beyond 30 days.
Jack’s Glass makes no additional warranty, express or implied, and this warranty is non-transferable.
Windshield Repairs
Jack’s Glass uses the highest quality resin, injected into the damaged part of your windshield, to repair chips and small cracks. This process is most effective if:
• Chips and/or cracks are smaller
• Damage is not near the edge of the glass surface
• The damage is free of dirt, debris or moisture
• The chipping occurred or the cracking began recently
The Lifetime Jack’s Auto Glass Warranty protects you against any additional cracking in the area repaired, and further warrants that all repairs will pass vehicle safety inspections in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
Damage After Repair
If cracks air spread at the site where Jack’s Glass has completed your repair, or if you’re otherwise not pleased with the quality or visibility of the glass, we will discount a replacement windshield and installation by Jack’s Glass by the full amount of your original repair within 30 days of the original repair.
Depending on your insurance policy, insurers may require that the cost of the repair be refunded to the insurance company if they covered the cost of the original repair. If this is your situation, you would still be responsible for any deductibles on replacement glass required by your individual policy. No additional warranties are applicable, express or implied.
Exceptions: Damage Discovered During Repair
The process of repairing a chipped or cracked windshield required applying some stress to the glass and in rare cases, despite the care and skills of our professional technicians, this may worsen the original damage to the point that a windshield replacement is required. This warranty does not include such occurrences and normal replacement costs, minus your insurance coverage, will apply.
ADAS Calibration
Many later-model-year vehicles are equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that require proper alignment between the sensors and the glass to operate properly. When your recalibration is performed at Jack’s Glass, we guarantee it for 30 days or until your next recalibration. Your dealer or owner’s manual can provide details on how often the manufacturer recommends recalibrating and what incidents – collision, repair, sensor replacement – require recalibration.
IMPORTANT: Your driver assistance systems may not operate accurately or effectively if your windshield is not properly recalibrated. This service should be performed only by a specialist qualified in ADAS recalibration. You should not rely on your advanced safety systems until recalibration is performed by a qualified recalibration specialist.
Properly calibrated ADAS features can enhance your safety and your overall driving experience. But there is no substitute for safe and alert driving. Proper operation of the vehicle at all times is the most important factor in the safety of you and your passengers.
Exclusions
Prior to working on your vehicle, we perform an inspection to identify and document any pre-existing damage that is visible. Jack’s Glass is not responsible for prior damage and the cost of any repairs needed prior to installation or repair is expressly excluded from our liability.
While performing an installation, our technicians sometimes encounter damage or rust that was not visible before removing your broken windshield. If we determine that existing damage renders a proper installation impossible, the customer will be responsible for completing appropriate repairs at their own cost. This cost may include the safe transportation of the vehicle to a qualified facility. necessary.
This warranty is limited to damage directly resulting from workmanship or materials provided by Jack’s Glass that is found to be defective. THIS WARRANTY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDES, AND JACK’S GLASS ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ASSOCIATED WITH THE INSPECTION, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT YOUR AUTO GLASS.
The exclusion of incidental or consequential damages may not apply to you if your state disallows such exclusions.
